Amsterdam launch — high-bandwidth bare metal from 15 August 2026
Mark the date: 15 August 2026 — RootPacket's Amsterdam location opens for orders, with high-bandwidth dedicated servers built for traffic-heavy workloads.
🚀 Launch promo: 50% off for 6 months
Orders placed during the launch promo get 50% off the monthly fee for the first six months. Browse the lineup on the bare metal page or order directly from the customer portal — out-of-stock configs take your email and alert you the moment hardware lands.
What's launching in Amsterdam
- Unmetered 10G and 25G dedicated servers — Xeon and EPYC configs with
NVMe storage, provisioned in under six hours. 40G and 100G available on request.
- Multi-homed network — transit via Cogent (AS 174) and Arelion
(AS 1299) plus direct peering at FRYS-IX, all under AS 56504.
- Full self-service portal — in-portal payments (cards and PayPal),
automatic provisioning on payment, honest order states, password reset, and back-in-stock alerts.
- Looking glass — test our network before you buy with live ping,
traceroute and MTR from the looking glass; probe nodes run on dedicated hardware in each POP.
What's next
25G/40G/100G stock expansion, additional looking glass nodes, and DE-CIX Frankfurt + NYIIX peering. Questions about the launch or the promo? Talk to us — or ping the NOC at noc@rootpacket.nl.
